Yes, Trumpet by Sarkodie took over our social media platforms some 2 days ago. The song featured MDK, Strongman, Koo Ntakra, Donzy and Pappy Kojo.
Well, in an interview with Hitz FM’s Dr. Pounds, one act who featured on the song, Donzy Chaka disclosed that he couldn’t sleep when Sarkodie sent him the beat. Donzy again added that it took him 2 days to write the lyrics.
“
I couldn’t sleep that day when Sarkodie sent me the Trumpet beat. Sarkodie made us all aware that this and that artistes were on the song, so immediately I started thinking about what to say. I was even the first act to record.”
On who killed the song for him, he said, “Well, for me, Strongman killed the song for me.”
