An acclaimed gospel musician, songwriter, worship leader, Becky Natsh,
has announced that plans have been put in place for the launch of her
second album entitled ‘I Shall Not Die’ in May this year.
Her second album is a brilliant fusion of soul, contemporary praise and worship genres mixed with both positive and prophetic words as lyrics to bring gospel music lovers into the presence of God.
Becky Natsh, known in private life as Mrs Rebecca Opoku, who entered into the gospel music scene some years back believes this album would minister the gospel of Christ to many across the world and also encourage the depressed and down-hearted to trust in God and she does that well on her new album.
Becky Natsh who has ministered in a number of churches including her church International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Hosanna Temple, Teshie, has been consistent with her musical work and especially making sure that the relationship she had established with her admirers and other gospel music lovers remained cemented.
Becky says, “With all my heart, I passionately pray that whatever situation you find yourself in, whether in a season of abundance, or a season of hardship that these songs of faith will be a blessing to you. Know that our God still reigns and He is in the business of making things beautiful in its time.”
She told BEATWAVES in an interview that she developed a strong passion for spreading the gospel of Christ through music, adding that her new album is a delight to listen to as the lyrics focus on real life issues.
“I am bringing nothing but the best of music. I want to make sure I break boundaries. I am going to set a record,” she declared.
She explained that her love for gospel music had been a part of her and that she uses music as a tool to get people closer to God.
According to her, “My presence in the gospel music industry has given me the opportunity to use music to educate the people about the teachings of Christ Jesus.”
She noted that God had blessed her with the talent of singing, and that she would make good use of her talent for more years to come.
Becky further disclosed that she took her gospel musical career seriously when she was a member of the Teshie Baptist Church.
“I am thankful to God for what I am and what I have now. I believe in God for greater things which I know will happen soon. But that doesn’t mean I have it all; I only believe in God and his works,” she added.
