Livingstone Satekla popularly known as Stonebwoy Burniton has finally
come out to clear the air on the rumors that former Accra Hearts of Oak
striker and member of the Ghana Black stars team, Prince Tagoe, manages
him.
According to Stonebwoy, Prince Tagoe is a music lover, a man with a kind heart and he is just like a big brother who supports the music talent in him. “Personally, I will say he is like a patron to me. He is not my manager or producer. I only escorted him to take an honorary award given to him by Empire Entertainment in Takoradi and we all ended up performing as I also gave a speech on his behalf.
He said this during a phone interview on 'Flex on Pluzz,' an entertainment show on Pluzz 89.9FM hosted by Sammy Flex.
He added that he appreciates it when people put in so
much to support real talents. “As a friend, I know that he has helped
the music industry. Just like he produced Praye's album in 2008, he has
helped our own Sonnie Badu and other people including me, so as a friend
I couldn't decline escorting him to the Empire event,” Stonebwoy

This is what the Afro dance hall young chap had to say when he was asked if he would love to be managed or produced by Prince Tagoe: “No, I would rather maintain this current relationship with him than have him as manager.” Also on the show, when Stonebwoy was asked if he did perform at the Jamaican dancehall festival 'Sting' last year as reported by Flex newspaper, he responded that even those he was billed for the Sting festival, he couldn't make it due to monetary and other issues.
“I remember speaking with Flex newspaper about the trip to Jamaica but I actually had to be on the 'Dancehall Explosion' show on the same 24th /25th December. Aside that, my management advised that since I was not gonna be paid for the Sting show and the one linking us to the show did not do things appropriately, I should forget about it,” he elaborated.
Stonebwoy who will be doing a collaboration with Jamaican dancehall kingpin, Jah Vinci who is due Ghana next month, looks forward to gaining more nominations in the upcoming Ghana Music Awards.
